10th annual Exhibits Round Table (ERT) Silent Auction


YES! Simply Donate to the Exhibits Round Table Silent Auction.

Your tax deductible donation* helps fund $5,000 scholarships to deserving library school students. That's our contribution to the profession and we would like your help.

In return for supporting the auction with quality donations, your company will get:

  • Top visibility. The auction's prime location ensures added interest in your products and services.
  • We'll recognize your company and donations in the full-page conference program Silent Auction ad. Deadline to be included in the program ad is April 27.
  • A sign highlighting your donated items and participation in the Silent Auction will be given to you to display in your booth.
  • All your donations, a link to your company home page, and a picture of your donated items will be included on the ALA Silent Auction web page. Deadline to be included on the web page is June 8.
  • Be sure to toot your own horn! Mention your auction support in your ALA mailings and ads.

How and What to Donate
Creative and fun donations always spur the most excitement on the auction floor! Popular items include trips, gift certificates, electronics, autographed books/memorabilia, sporting event tickets, clothing, jewelry, art, and crafts. Promoting a certain product at ALA? Donate it! Have a great service but not sure how to attractively display it? Create a gift certificate and incorporate it in an imaginative themed basket. All price points encouraged! Also remember donations may be tax deductible.

Deadlines to remember: Simply fill out the following online donation form by April 27th to guarantee your spot in BOTH the conference program Silent Auction ad and the ALA Silent Auction web page. Miss the April 27th deadline? Your company will still be included on the ALA Silent Auction web page if the form is submitted by June 8. Please don’t miss this great opportunity to promote your company while raising scholarship funds!

Shipping Your Donation & Signage to the Show for Display
All donors are encouraged to display their donated item as well as a sign promoting their item/company at the auction. Please ship your donation and/or your promotional sign to your booth and deliver them to the Silent Auction area on Friday, June 22 between 10am-4:30pm.If it's inconvenient to physically display your donated item at the show, the promotional sign you provide may be used in its place. Maximum sign size is 11”x14”.

*Picking up Your Donation after the Auction and Shipping Your Donation to the Winner
On Tuesday, a representative of your company will need to pick up from the auction area all donated items NOT picked up by the winner. Please list the onsite contact’s cell number and we’ll call to let you know when the item is ready to be picked up. The winner’s shipping information will be attached to the item(s). YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR SHIPPING YOUR DONATED ITEM(S) TO THE WINNER(S). NO EXCEPTIONS.
