YES! Simply Donate to the Exhibits Round Table Silent Auction.

Your tax deductible donation* helps fund $5,000 scholarships to deserving library school students. That's our contribution to the profession and we would like your help.

LOOK AT THE FREE EXPOSURE YOU WILL RECEIVE!
In return for supporting the auction with quality donations, your company will get:

  • Top visibility. The auction's prime location ensures added interest in your products and services.
  • We'll recognize your company in the conference program Silent Auction ad. Deadline to be included in the program ad is April 28.
  • A sign highlighting your donated items and participation in the Silent Auction will be given to you to display in your booth.
  • All your donations, a link to your company home page, and a picture of your donated items will be included on the ALA Silent Auction web page. Deadline to be included on the web page is June 9.
  • Be sure to toot your own horn! Mention your auction support in your ALA mailings and ads.
  • Special recognition to exhibitors who purchase donation items from New Orleans establishments.

SUPPORT THE NEW ORLEANS COMMUNITY!
Of course we encourage your product and service donations. We've been counting on these great items for a number of years now and we're counting on them again. However, this year brings a new and rare opportunity - to really help New Orleans. I challenge you to "crank it up a notch" this year and purchase donations from local establishments in lieu of or in addition to your product/service donation. What better way to support BOTH ALA scholarships and a beloved city trying to get back on its feet.

Maybe it's a gift basket of local food and hot sauces from the French Market. Or a beautiful antique necklace from a shop on Royal Street. Perhaps a piece of art or a vintage Mardi Gras costume from a shop on Decatur Street. You're bound to find something funky and unique on Magazine Street. Shop online! Shipping Your Donation & Signage to the Show for Display
All donors are encouraged to display their donated item as well as a sign promoting their item/company at the auction. Please ship your donation and/or your promotional sign to your booth and deliver them to the Silent Auction area on Friday, June 23 between 10am-4:30pm. If the donated item is inconvenient to physically display at the show, the promotional sign you provide may be used in its place. Maximum sign size is 11"x14".

*Picking up Your Donation after the Auction and Shipping Your Donation to the Winner
All donated items, unless picked up by the winner, need to be picked up from the auction area when ready on Tuesday by a representative of your company. Please list the onsite contact's cell number and we'll call to let you know when the item is ready to be picked up. The winner's shipping information will be attached to the item(s). YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR SHIPPING YOUR DONATED ITEM(S) TO THE WINNER(S). NO EXCEPTIONS.
