Diamond Sponsorships

Conference within a Conference:* Be a part of history. This is ALA’s first effort to provide quality education to library support staff. The Conference can be titled “ALA and YOUR COMPANY’S Conference within a Conference”. Your company’s logo will be on all signs outside the door of the various classes, on the Final Program, any ads and collateral material, as well as on the ALA Web Site. Your president, CEO or other designated VIP will be able to make a short welcome speech at the Opening Breakfast and introduce the luncheon keynote speaker. Sponsor will also have right of first refusal to sponsor when ALA starts to take this “show on the road”, so to speak and presents an abbreviated version in different parts of the country. Cost: $50,000. (Breakfast $15,000, Lunch $20,000, Speaker and Speaker Expenses $15,000) Parts may be sponsored separately, but these parts will be Ruby Sponsorships and companies cannot have their name on the entire event.

Ruby Sponsorships

Conference within a Conference: See above. Available Sponsorships is the Sunday Breakfast $5000, the Saturday Luncheon $7,500 and the Speaker Sponsorship, $10,000. Reach library directors and their support staff. Be a part of ALA History. This is a prime opportunity to raise the visibility of your company throughout ALA. All eyes are on this conference and the smart company will be right were the attendees are looking!!

Message Center and Product Locator: Highly visible and very much used and appreciated by attendees. Includes 10 stations at Midwinter and 18 at Annual, plus printers. Stations include a sophisticated attendee to attendee messaging system and the interactive exhibit floor map and product locator. Your company’s name will appear as one of the top names on the list and we can put your company’s logo on the screens of the message center when they are not being used. Cost is $15,000 for Midwinter and $25,000 for Annual.

NEW!! ALA President Loriene Roy’s Wellness Fair: This event will be held on the show floor on Sunday June 29 from 10:00am-1:30pm. It will feature wellness product displays, poster sessions on workplace wellness, exercise demonstrations, maybe a cooking demonstration and a few sessions on various health tips. When the participants come into the area they will get a bag with various donated goodies, but we would also like to include a pedometer and a book shaped stress ball. The pedometer would have your company’s logo on it and the book shaped stress ball would have both your company’s and ALA’s logo. The cost would be $7500.

Locator Map: This highly popular map includes the various programs, hotel and restaurant information and the exhibit floor plan. An interactive map on the web that has the exhibitor floor plan where an attendee can see where various booths are located and link to their websites supplements it. It also has a map of the city and when a hotel is clicked on, the attendee can see what restaurants or places of interest are near the hotel. ALA needs three sponsors and from past experience, sponsors receive many, many compliments and thank yous for sponsoring the map. Your company will, too. Fun Run: Save the Fun Run!!! After 20 years ALA had to cancel the Fun Run due to lack of sponsorship. Now almost 400 runners are despondent. Won’t you make their conference by sponsoring this fun ALA Annual Conference Activity? It takes place on Sunday Morning at 7:00am. Every entrant gets a T-shirt with your company’s logo on it and one of you company’s VIP’s gets to start the race and give out the medals at the end. It has a very loyal following and it’s only $7,500 to sponsor.

All Diamond and Ruby Sponsorships include Thank You Advertisements in Cognotes, Annual Conference Final Program and American Libraries; your company’s logo on the screen at the Opening General Session and a thank you at the session from the ALA President as well as a thank you mention at the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, plus a sign for your booth and ribbons for your booth personnel. Diamond Sponsorships also include a complete copy of the attendee survey results.

Sapphire Sponsorships

$1000-$5,000-Recognition sponsorships that are not linked to any tangible Midwinter or Annual items. Choose the amount in $500 increments that fit your company’s budget. Earn recognition at the Opening General Session and Ribbon Cutting and mention in American Libraries, Cognotes and the Final Program, plus a nice sign for your booth. Choose either Midwinter or Annual. $4000, $4500 and $5,000 will receive recognition at both conferences and $5,000 will also receive ribbons for their booth staff.
