ALA/Proquest Scholarship Event

Saturday, June 28, 2008, 7:00pm—Disneyland® Resort to play host for the Annual Scholarship Bash.

The ALA/ProQuest Scholarship Event Bash will be held at ALA Annual Conference, Saturday, June 28 at 7:00 p.m., and provides scholarships for graduate students. Among others, the event has featured the Indigo Girls and Three Dog Night, Mary Chapin-Carpenter, been held at Universal Studios, and has raised almost one million dollars.

This year’s event will take place at the Disneyland® Park and Disney’s California Adventure® Park. Two parks! One Night! A great cause! Join ALA and enjoy such rides as the new and improved Space Mountain, the original Matterhorn, Tower of Terrror, and Pirates of the Carribean. Twilight Tickets will be able to be used from 7:00pm until the Parks close. Twilight Tickets are good for Park entry to Disneyland® Park or Disney’s California Adventure® Park (one park only, no back and forth privileges).

Advanced tickets are $40.00 with tickets on site being $45.00. Please use the attached ticket order form for ordering all Exhibitor tickets for the Scholarship Bash.

Exhibitors-do you want to draw attendees to your booth? Exhibitors can purchase Bash Cash to give out to attendees before the June 28th Scholarship Bash. Attendees will visit participating booths on Saturday in the exhibit hall to receive Bash Cash. Get creative with your ways and reasons to give out the cash. Bash Cash is a great way to bring attendees to your booth.

Bash Cash can be used for a variety of purchases before, during, and after the Bash on Saturday. We have reached an agreement with Disney and are using the Disney Dollars as this years Bash Cash. Disney Dollars are good at any Disney store nationwide as well as Walt Disney World Florida and all shops located at the Disneyland Park and Disney’s California Adventure!

Special sponsor visibility opportunities and entitlements include pre-event and on-site program identification as a Bash Cash sponsor, plus exhibit hall and booth signage!
